Indian Smartphone company Ringing Bells has announced to deliver 65000 more devices to the customer who has registered for Freedom 251. Ringing Bell has already delivered the first 5000 devices to the customers. The company has set lowest price less than $4 for the smartphone in the cash on delivery (COD) mode.
Ringing Bells company is very beginner to Indian smartphone market and started in February 2016. The company has planned to deliver 25 lakh devices before Jun 30. When the registration for devices has been started, the payment gateway crashed as the company had received more than seven crore registration.
The company has started to deliver smartphone in the states like West Bengal, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Uttarakhand, New Delhi, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. The company has started lottery system to select the customer to deliver the smartphone.
Mohit Goel, Founder and CEO of the company Ringing Bells has claimed to keep its promise to consumers to deliver handset. He had previously said the company will start delivery from June 30 for nearly two lakh Freedom 251 smartphones and then company will open registration again.
Configuration of Freedom 251:
The device Freedom 251 comes with 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage memory with 3G network support. Device has also support of up to 32GB of external storage memory card. The handset comes with 8MP primary camera with flash and 3.2 MP front camera. The handset contains 1800 mAh battery for good battery life. The device runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop).
It is notable that the company Ringing Bells has started the selling of smartphones on web from February 2016 and claimed to be the cheapest smartphone of India. But to the smartphone company indulge in controversy as the chief guest didn’t appeared in the launch and because of too much low price.
