Shree Krishna had taken birth with a purpose to kill Kansa his uncle and to free the people of Mathura from the havoc created by Kansa. His uncle, King Kansa already know that the eighth son of his Sister-Devaki will be the reason for his death. So, to avoid his death, he imprisoned his sister Devaki and her husband for years till their eighth child was born, but he couldn’t revert his destiny.

When Shree Krishna took birth, the situation changed dramatically and doors of the prison opened automatically and father of Lord Krishna took new born baby to his friend Nanda living in Gokul where Shree Krishna got up.
